Employer Profile Navigation
The Employer Profile navigation gives branch and company users access to their dashboard, loan officer pipeline, and profile management tools. This article explains the navigation items available to employer accounts and what each section contains.
Note: Some navigation items are gated by user permissions. If you do not see a section described below, contact your account administrator to review your access level.
Top Navigation Overview
Employer accounts (both branch and company) share the same top navigation structure. The items displayed depend on the permissions assigned to your user account:
- Dashboard — your home screen, always visible
- Loan Officers — browse loan officers in your representation zone (requires Represent Profile permission)
- Hand Raised — view loan officers who are actively seeking new opportunities (requires Represent Profile permission)
- Profile — edit your employer profile (requires Profile Editing permission)
- Settings (gear icon) — manage users, representation zone, and fees (requires Change Settings permission)
The global header also includes the Modex logo (returns to the home page), a product switcher to move between Modex products and profiles, and a conversations icon with an unread message badge.
Dashboard
The Dashboard is your home screen and is always accessible from the top navigation. It displays:
- Your profile card showing your photo, profile type (Branch or Company), name, and address, along with an Edit Profile button
- An Awaiting Approval banner if your profile claim is still under review
- A Who has shown interest in you? section listing loan officers who have expressed interest in your profile
- An Are You Hiring? toggle card — switch this on to signal to loan officers that you are actively hiring; you can turn it off at any time
Loan Officers
Click Loan Officers in the top navigation to browse loan officers within your representation zone. Clicking a loan officer opens their detail view, which includes the following tabs:
- Performance Metrics — volume, units, loan type, transaction type, top cities, property type, reverse mortgage, and banked/brokered breakdowns
- Licenses — the loan officer's active state licenses
From the detail view you can express interest in a loan officer to initiate a potential conversation.
Note: The Loan Officers section requires the Represent Profile permission. If you do not see this item, contact your account administrator.
Hand Raised
Click Hand Raised in the top navigation to view loan officers who have indicated they are actively open to new opportunities. These loan officers appear anonymously — their identity is protected until a conversation begins.
Hand Raised loan officer profiles display:
- Performance Metrics — same performance data as standard loan officer profiles
- Licenses — active state licenses
- A general location region (not an exact address) to preserve anonymity
When you express interest in a Hand Raised loan officer and start a conversation, you will be given the option to reveal or keep your identity anonymous at the outset. The loan officer can also choose whether to reveal their identity during the conversation.
Note: Hand Raised loan officers are subject to a different fee rate than standard connections. See Settings > Fees Overview for your fee schedule.

Profile
Click Profile in the top navigation to manage your employer profile. The profile section contains four tabs in the sidebar:
- General — edit your Branch or Company Name, Website, Phone Number, and Email
- Branding — upload a profile photo (shown next to your name throughout Modex) and a logo (shown within your Modex profile; minimum 800x400 pixels)
- Branch Details / Company Details — add rich text content across six fields: Description, Compensation, Benefits, Community, Support, Culture, and Products
- Photos — upload and arrange a photo gallery for your profile; drag to reorder images

Note: The Profile section requires the Profile Editing permission.
Settings
Click the Settings gear icon in the top navigation to manage account-level configuration. The settings section contains three tabs:
- User Access — view all users on your account, invite new users, edit permissions, and remove users. Each user can be granted up to three permissions: Profile Editing, Represent Profile, and Change Settings
- Representation Zone — view the geographic area in which you can search and engage with loan officers. To adjust your zone, contact your Modex Account Executive
- Fees Overview — view your fee schedule, including the BPS rates for Hand Raised and standard connections and the applicable duration

Conversations
The conversations icon in the global header displays an unread message badge when you have new activity. Click it to open your conversations. Conversations are created when both you and a loan officer have expressed mutual interest. To learn more, see Messaging.
Switching Profiles and Products
If you manage multiple profiles or have access to other Modex products, use the product switcher in the global header to move between them. To learn more, see Managing Multiple Profiles and Products.
