Loan Officer Profile Navigation

The Loan Officer profile in Modex Profiles gives you a central place to manage your presence, track who has shown interest in you, view your performance data, and control your job-seeking visibility. This article walks through every section of the loan officer navigation so you know exactly where to find each feature.

Note: Some features may not be available until your profile claim has been reviewed and approved. If you see an Awaiting Approval banner, your access will be fully enabled within 2 business days.

Top Navigation Overview

Once you are logged in to your loan officer profile, you will see four items in the top navigation bar:

  • Dashboard — your home screen with a summary of activity, onboarding progress, and key actions
  • Opportunities — view employers who have shown interest in you and manage your Hand Raised status
  • Insights — review your personal performance metrics and see how you rank against peers
  • My Profile — edit your profile details, upload a photo, and manage your Raise Your Hand setting

The global header also includes the Modex logo (which links to the home page), a Change to product switcher for toggling between Modex products and profiles, a conversations icon that displays an unread message badge, and your account avatar menu.

Dashboard

Click Dashboard in the top navigation to return to your home screen at any time. The dashboard includes:

  • Profile card — displays your photo, name, NMLS ID, and Modex Score; click Edit Profile to update your information
  • Onboarding progress bar — shows how many setup steps you have completed (disappears once all steps are done); click Get Started or Continue to resume
  • Awaiting Approval banner — appears if your profile claim is still under review
  • Get your performance insights! card — click View Insights to jump to your Insights page
  • Who has shown interest in you? section — lists employers who have expressed interest in your profile
  • Raise Your Hand card — toggle your anonymous job-seeking signal between Raised and Lowered
  • Improve Your Opportunities card — answer survey questions that help Modex surface the most relevant employer opportunities for you

Opportunities

Click Opportunities in the top navigation to see a full list of employers who have indicated interest in you. From this page you can also manage your Raise Your Hand status. A prompt at the top of the page reads "Want to be anonymous to potential employers? Raise Your Hand!" with an inline toggle.

To learn more about how the Raise Your Hand feature works, see Raise Your Hand.

Insights

Click Insights in the top navigation to view your personal production data and peer rankings. The Insights section contains two pages:

Performance

The Performance page (titled "Your Performance Report") shows your origination data for a selected year. Use the timeframe selector at the top to choose a year. If sufficient data is available, you will see:

  • Overview card — total volume, unit count, monthly average, and average loan amount
  • Volume chart — monthly production plotted on a line chart
  • Loan Types — doughnut chart breaking down your loan mix
  • Transaction Types — doughnut chart by transaction category
  • Property Cities — geographic breakdown of your transactions
  • Property Types — doughnut chart by property category
  • Reverse Mortgages — reverse mortgage activity
  • Banked/Brokered — breakdown of banked vs. brokered volume

Note: If there is not enough data for the selected timeframe, you will see the message "Insufficient data for time frame." Try selecting a different year.

Rankings

Click View Rankings on the Performance page (or navigate directly) to open the Rankings page (titled "Where You Stand"). This page shows your Representation Zone map and ranks you against peers in three categories:

  • Branch Rank — your rank among loan officers at your branch
  • Company Rank — your rank among loan officers at your company
  • Region Rank — your rank among loan officers in your region

Your entry is highlighted in green; other loan officers are shown in blue. Each list displays name, NMLS ID, and abbreviated volume.

To learn more, see Loan Officer Profile Insights (Ranking).

My Profile

Click My Profile in the top navigation to open your profile editor. The sidebar contains three tabs:

  • General — update your First Name and Last Name
  • Profile Photo — upload a headshot (JPG, JPEG, or PNG format; minimum 200x200 pixels)
  • Raise Your Hand — toggle your anonymous job-seeking status between Raised and Lowered

When you switch your hand to Raised, a confirmation dialog will appear explaining how the anonymous matching process works. You can lower your hand at any time.

Conversations

Click the conversations icon in the header (which displays a badge when you have unread messages) to open your active conversations with employers. Conversations begin when both you and an employer have expressed mutual interest in each other. To learn more, see Messaging.
