Loan Officer Profile Insights (Ranking)

The Insights section of your Loan Officer profile gives you a view into your production performance and how you rank against your peers at your branch, company, and within your region. This article covers the Rankings page — where you can see your position relative to other loan officers in your market.

Note: Insights may not be available on all accounts. If you do not see Insights in your top navigation menu, contact Modex Support.

Click Insights in the top navigation menu. The Insights section includes two pages:

  • Performance — your personal production metrics for a selected timeframe
  • Rankings — how you compare to peers at your branch, company, and in your region

You can also reach the Rankings page from your Dashboard by clicking View Rankings in the "How do you stack up?" card.

The Rankings Page

The Rankings page is titled Where You Stand and shows your ranked position among loan officers in three groups. Your Representation Zone map is displayed at the top of the page to show the geographic area your rankings are based on.

Below the map, three ranked lists appear:

  • Branch Rank — your position among loan officers at your branch
  • Company Rank — your position among loan officers across your company
  • Region Rank — your position among loan officers within your Representation Zone

Each list displays loan officer names, NMLS IDs, and abbreviated volume figures. Your entry is highlighted in green so you can quickly locate your position. Other loan officers are shown in blue.

Note: Rankings lists only appear when sufficient data is available. If there is not enough data to calculate rankings, you will see the message: "Not enough data to show Loan Officer rankings."

Performance Metrics

The Performance page (titled Your Performance Report) shows your individual production data for a selected year. Use the timeframe selector at the top of the page to choose a year. The report date range is displayed below the selector.

When data is available for the selected timeframe, the page displays:

  • Overview — total volume, unit count, monthly average, and average loan size
  • Volume chart — a line chart showing your volume by month
  • Loan Types — a breakdown of your production by loan type
  • Transaction Types — a breakdown by transaction type
  • Property Cities — where your transactions occurred
  • Property Types — a breakdown by property type
  • Reverse Mortgages — reverse mortgage activity
  • Banked/Brokered — a breakdown of banked vs. brokered transactions

Note: If there is not enough data for the selected timeframe, you will see: "Insufficient data for time frame — We currently don't have enough data to produce performance metrics for this time frame."

Representation Zone

Your Representation Zone defines the geographic area used to calculate your regional rankings and the data visible to you on the platform. The zone is set by the Modex team and displayed on the Rankings page. If you do not yet have a zone assigned, you will see a message indicating that the Modex team is working to set up your account.
