Loan Officer Profile Survey Questions
The Improve Your Opportunities survey is a short set of questions on your loan officer dashboard that helps Modex surface the most relevant employer opportunities for you. This article explains where to find the survey, how to answer questions, and what happens when you complete it.
Navigating to the Survey
The survey appears in the Improve Your Opportunities card on your loan officer Dashboard. On desktop, questions are displayed directly in the card on the right side of your dashboard. On mobile, tap the Start button on the Improve Your Opportunities card to open the survey in a modal.
Answering Survey Questions
Each question is presented one at a time. Depending on the question type, you will respond in one of the following ways:
- Multiple choice — tap or click one of the answer buttons to select your response; your answer is saved immediately and the next question loads
- Text entry — type your answer in the text field and click Continue
- Dollar amount — enter a dollar value in the money field and click Continue
- Dropdown — choose an option from the dropdown menu and click Continue
If you prefer not to answer a question, click Skip Question below the response area. Skipping a question counts as answered so you will move on to the next one.
What Questions Are Asked
Survey questions are specific to loan officer profiles and may include topics such as the type of employer you are looking for (lender, broker, or bank/credit union) and the languages you speak. Modex may add new questions over time as additional matching criteria become available.
Note: The questions you see are pulled from the current active question set. As Modex adds new questions, they will appear in your survey card even after you have previously completed it.
Completing the Survey
Once you have answered or skipped all available questions, the Improve Your Opportunities card displays a completion message:
"All Caught Up! You have answered all our current questions. We will use these answers to help surface the most relevant opportunities."
The survey card is hidden from your dashboard once all questions are answered. It will reappear if Modex adds new questions to the set.
How Your Answers Are Used
Your survey responses are used by Modex to better match you with employers whose profiles and hiring criteria align with your preferences. Your answers are not displayed publicly on your profile and are only used internally to improve the relevance of the opportunities shown to you and the employers who may reach out.
