Filters

The Filters page is Modex Recruit's primary tool for finding loan officers and real estate agents that match your specific criteria. This article explains the filters available, how to apply and reset them, and how to customize your search results.

Accessing Filters

  1. Click Loan Officers or Real Estate Agents in the top navigation menu.
  2. A dropdown menu will appear. Click Filters.
  3. You will be taken to the Filters page. The filter sidebar appears on the left and your results populate on the right.

The filter sidebar contains collapsible sections organized by category. Each section can be expanded or collapsed by clicking on it. When a filter within a section is active, a green dot appears next to the section name.

Scroll through the sidebar to view all available filter options for the entity type you are searching.

Applying Filters

  1. Expand the filter sections you want to configure and set your criteria.
  2. Click Apply at the bottom of the sidebar to run your search. Your results will refresh automatically.

Note: Filters do not apply automatically when you change a value — you must click Apply to update your results.

Resetting Filters

To clear all active filters and start a new search, click the three-dot menu next to Apply at the bottom of the sidebar and select Reset Filters. This will remove all selected criteria and refresh your results.

To reset a single filter without affecting others, click the three-dot menu within that filter section and select Reset Filter.

Adding Multiple Criteria to a Filter

Many filters support multiple criteria rows. Click the three-dot menu within a filter section and select Add to add another row. By default, all rows use AND logic — the loan officer must match every row. The Lender Beneficiary and Company Type filters include an explicit And / Or toggle when more than one row is added.

Sorting and Display Options

Above your results, you can control how results are sorted and displayed:

  • Sort By — Sort results by Volume, Units, Modex Score, NMLS ID, First Name, or Last Name. Click the arrow button to toggle ascending or descending order.
  • Volume / Monthly Average / Average Loan — Toggle the dollar figure displayed per result row.
  • Per Page — Choose to display 25, 50, 100, or 250 results per page.

Map View

On the Filters page, you can toggle between a list view and a map view of your results. Click Map View in the top bar above your results to switch. Click List View to return to the default view.

When Map View is active and you have an Office Location filter configured, you can enable Search as map moves to dynamically update results as you pan the map.
