Map View & Map View Functions
Map View is available on the Loan Officers, Branches, Companies, and Real Estate Agents search pages. It lets you visualize results geographically on an interactive map alongside a scrollable results list.
Switching to Map View
- Navigate to Loan Officers, Branches, Companies, or Real Estate Agents in the top navigation and click Filters.
- In the toolbar above your results, click Map View. The button is located to the right of the selection checkbox button.
- The results area will switch to a two-panel layout: a scrollable results list on the left and a Google Map on the right.
- To return to the standard results list, click List View in the same toolbar position.
Note: The filter sidebar remains fully functional in Map View. All filters you apply will update both the map pins and the results list.
Map View Layout
Map View displays two panels side by side:
- Left panel — a scrollable list of results for the current page. Each row shows the profile photo, name, company or office name, and abbreviated Volume and Units values.
- Right panel — a Google Map showing pins for all results that have a known address or office location.
Records without a valid address will appear in the sidebar list but will not have a pin on the map.
Interacting with Pins and Results
Clicking a pin on the map
Clicking a pin selects that record. The pin icon changes to indicate it is selected, the corresponding row in the sidebar list is highlighted with a green border, and the list automatically scrolls to bring that row into view.
Clicking a row in the sidebar list
Clicking a row in the left panel selects that record, highlights it with a green border, and pans the map to that location, zooming in automatically.
Navigating to a profile
Hover over any row in the sidebar list to reveal a chevron arrow on the right edge of the row. Click it to open the full profile page for that record.
Map Controls
The map provides standard Google Maps zoom controls. Fullscreen and Street View controls are not available in Map View. Points of interest labels are hidden to keep the map focused on your results.
When results load, the map automatically adjusts its viewport to fit all visible pins. If there are no results, the map resets to a default view centered on the United States.
Marker Clustering
When multiple pins are close together at the current zoom level, they are automatically grouped into a single cluster marker. Zoom in to expand clusters into individual pins.
Pagination in Map View
The sidebar list uses a simplified Prev / Next pagination bar at the bottom of the panel. The current page number is shown between the two buttons.
The Per Page setting (25, 50, 100, or 250) and Sort By controls in the toolbar remain active in Map View. The Per Page setting controls both the number of pins displayed on the map and the number of rows shown in the sidebar list at once.
Search as Map Moves
This feature is available on the Loan Officers and Real Estate Agents map views only.
A Search as map moves checkbox appears in the top-right corner of the map. When enabled, panning or zooming the map automatically triggers a new search filtered to the current map boundaries. When disabled, the map does not re-query on pan or zoom.
The same option also appears in the Office Location filter in the left filter panel. When Search as map moves is active, the Office Location filter is locked and cannot be edited manually. Uncheck the option to re-enable manual location filtering.
Switching back to List View from Map View automatically turns off Search as map moves.
Boundary Overlays
When a Boundaries filter is applied, the map renders a geographic overlay showing the boundary shapes for your selected area. The overlay is cleared automatically when the Boundaries filter is removed.
Real Estate Agents Map View
The Real Estate Agents map view has additional behavior specific to that entity type. Instead of individual clickable pins, the map displays geographic coverage overlays.
Clicking a row in the sidebar list fetches that agent's coverage area and renders it as a shape on the map. Coverage data reflects your current Transactions Range, Metric Type, and Restricted Data filter settings. When you change filters, the first result in the list is selected automatically to display its coverage.
Selection Mode in Map View
The selection checkbox feature works in Map View. Click the selection button in the toolbar to enter selection mode. Each sidebar row will display a checkbox that you can check or uncheck. The Select All on Page and Unselect All on Page actions in the toolbar are also available while in Map View.
