Notifications

Notifications in Modex Profiles alert you to activity on your profile — such as when a loan officer or employer expresses interest in you. This article explains where to find notifications and what they mean.

Notification Badge

When you have unread notifications, a badge appears on the notifications icon in the top navigation bar. Click the icon to view your notifications.

Types of Notifications

Modex Profiles sends real-time notifications for the following events:

• Interest received — a loan officer or employer has expressed interest in your profile
• Mutual interest — both parties have expressed interest, triggering a new conversation
• Representation Zone updated — your coverage area has been set or updated by the Modex team

Mutual Interest Notifications

When both a loan officer and an employer express interest in each other, Modex automatically starts a conversation between them. You will see a You have mutual interest! modal with a Go to your conversation! button that takes you directly to the new conversation. A badge also appears on the conversations icon in the top navigation bar to indicate unread messages.

Representation Zone Notifications

Your Representation Zone is the geographic area where you can browse and view data on Modex. When the Modex team assigns or updates your zone, you will receive a real-time notification. Your updated zone will then be visible under My Profile > Raise Your Hand (for loan officers) or in Settings > Representation Zone (for employers).

Note: Representation Zones are configured by the Modex team and cannot be changed by users directly. Contact your Account Executive to request changes to your zone.

Conversations

New messages in your active conversations also appear as unread indicators in the top navigation bar. Click the conversations icon to view all your conversations. To learn more, see Messaging.
