Managing Your Account
This article covers key account management tasks in Modex Profiles, including switching between profiles and products, managing user access, and understanding how permissions work.
Switching Between Profiles and Products
If you manage more than one profile — or have access to multiple Modex products — you can switch between them at any time using the product switcher in the top navigation bar. Click Change to in the header to open the selector and choose a different profile or product (for example, switching from Profiles to Recruit).
Each profile has its own settings, profile information, and user access list. Switching between them does not affect your other profiles.

Managing User Access (Employer Profiles)
Branch and Company profiles can invite additional users to help manage the account. To access user management, click the Settings gear icon in the top navigation menu, then select User Access.
Inviting a User
Click Invite User and enter the new user's email address. Select the permissions you want to grant and click Send. The invited user will receive an email invitation. You can click View Invitations to see pending invites.
Editing a User
Click Edit next to any existing user to update their permissions. Changes take effect immediately.
Removing a User
Click Remove next to a user to revoke their access. The Remove button is disabled for the last remaining user on an account — at least one user must remain.
User Permissions
When inviting or editing a user, you can assign any combination of the following three permissions:
- Profile Editing — can edit profile information such as the profile photo, name, descriptions, and other details
- Represent Profile — can engage in conversations with loan officers on behalf of the profile
- Change Settings — can invite users, edit permissions, and change additional account settings
The User Access list shows each user's active permissions along with the date they were added and when they last logged in.
Loan Officer Account Settings
Loan officers manage their account from the My Profile section in the top navigation menu. The following tabs are available:
- General — update your first and last name
- Profile Photo — upload a profile photo (JPG/JPEG/PNG, minimum 200x200 pixels)
- Raise Your Hand — toggle your anonymous job-seeking status on or off
Note: Password and billing changes are managed through your main Modex account, not within Profiles.
Profile Claim and Approval Status
After claiming a profile, your account will be reviewed by the Modex team. While your claim is pending, you will see an Awaiting Approval banner on your dashboard. Some features are unavailable during this time and will unlock once your claim is approved, which typically takes up to 2 business days.
For employer accounts, a Modex Account Executive will also reach out within 2 business days to schedule a personalized demo and fully enable your account.
