Lender Beneficiary Functionality
Lender Beneficiaries are the companies named as the beneficiary in mortgage loan transactions — typically the investor or institution that receives the loan. This article explains how to search, filter, and view Lender Beneficiary data in Modex Recruit.
Note: The Lender Beneficiaries section may not be available on all accounts. If you do not see Lender Beneficiaries in your navigation menu, contact Modex Support.
Navigating to Lender Beneficiaries
Click Lender Beneficiaries in the top navigation menu. A dropdown will appear with three options:
- Filters — browse lender beneficiaries using filter criteria
- Search — look up a lender beneficiary by company name
- Lists — manage your saved lender beneficiary lists

Metrics Tabs
The metrics panel on a lender beneficiary detail page includes the following tabs:
- Mortgage Metrics — total volume, average monthly, average loan, total units, and charts by loan type, transaction type, location, property type, and reverse mortgage
- Mortgage Transactions Map — a geographic view of transaction activity
- Census Metrics — census and CRA data (if available on your account)
Note: Workforce, Non-QM, Real Estate Metrics, and individual Mortgage Transactions tabs are not available on lender beneficiary detail pages.
Using the Lender Beneficiary Filter in Other Searches
When filtering Loan Officers, Branches, or Companies, you can use the Lender Beneficiary filter to find originators who have transacted with a specific lender beneficiary. Enter a company name to search, then set quantitative constraints using the aggregate type options — Units, Volume, Percent, or Average — along with minimum and maximum values. You can also check And has no transactions with lender beneficiary to exclude originators who have worked with that company. Multiple lender beneficiary entries can be combined using the And / Or toggle.
For more information on filtering, see Filters and How to Stack Filters.
Lists
You can save lender beneficiaries to lists for ongoing tracking and organization. To learn more, see Lists.
