Modex Navigation

Modex offers flexible navigation tools to help you find exactly what you need, whether you are browsing by category, searching for a specific entity, or sorting large lists of data.

Toggling Between Search Tabs

You can switch between different search categories using the tabs at the top of the platform.

  1. Locate the navigation tabs at the top of the page (e.g., Loan Officers, Branches, Companies).
  2. Click the tab for the category you wish to view (e.g., click "Companies" to search for mortgage companies).
  3. Once on the new tab, click "Filters" in the top left corner to reset the view to the search home page for that specific category.

Tip: Clicking the Modex logo in the top left corner will always return you to the home screen, which defaults to the Loan Officer search page.

Using Global Search

If you want to search across the entire platform simultaneously without switching tabs manually, use the Global Search feature.

  1. Click the magnifying glass icon located in the top right header.

Enter your search criteria. You can search by:

    • NMLS ID: Enter the specific ID number for a Loan Officer, Branch, Company or Real Estate Agent.
    • Name: Type the name of a person or company (e.g., "CrossCountry").
  2. Select the correct result from the dropdown list that appears. The system will intelligently suggest Loan Officers, Branches, Companies or Real Estate Agents that match your query.
  3. Clicking a result will take you directly to that entity's detail page.

Sorting Search Results

By default, search results are sorted by Units. You can customize this view to better analyze production data.

  1. Navigate to the top right of your search results list to find the "Sort by" dropdown.

    Select your preferred metric:

    • Volume: Sorts results by total dollar volume.
    • Units: Sorts by total number of loans (Default).
    • Modex Score: Sorts by the proprietary Modex rating.
    • NMLS ID or Name: Sorts alphabetically or numerically for easier list management.
  2. Use the arrow icon next to the dropdown to toggle between descending (highest to lowest) and ascending (lowest to highest) order.
