User Settings

Your Modex Recruit settings allow you to customize how data is displayed, configure export formats, and track your activity. This guide explains each settings section and how to configure them for your needs.

How do I access Settings?

  1. Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of your Modex Recruit dashboard.
  2. Use the left-hand navigation menu to select the specific settings section you want to configure.

What are Display Settings?

Display Settings customize how data appears throughout the Modex Recruit platform.

Default Transactions Timeframe

Set the default period for transaction data display. Options include:

  • Year to Date
  • 1 Year
  • 9 Months
  • 6 Months
  • 3 Months
  • Specific years (2024, 2023, etc.)

Default Sorting Options

Configure default sorting for each data category:

  • Loan Officers: Volume, Units, Name, Modex Score, NMLS ID
  • Branches: Volume, Units, Name, NMLS ID
  • Companies: Volume, Units, Name, NMLS ID
  • Lender Beneficiaries: Volume, Units, Name
  • Real Estate Agents: Volume, Units, Name

Default Page Size

Choose how many results display per page: 25, 50, 100, or 250.

To save changes: Click "Save" at the bottom of the page. You'll see a "Settings Updated" notification confirming your changes.

What are CSV Settings?

CSV Settings determine which data fields are included when you export lists to CSV files. You can customize exports for Loan Officers, Branches, Companies, and Lender Beneficiaries.

For each category, you can configure:

Transactions Timeframe: Choose the default timeframe for exported data.

Data Fields: Select specific data points to include using checkboxes organized by category:

  • MODEX: Modex Score, Modex URL
  • General: Name, Address, NMLS ID
  • Employment: Employer Name, license types
  • Contact: Phone numbers, email addresses, social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Zillow)
  • Performance: Performance Volume, Performance Units

Click "Save" after making your selections to apply the customized export settings.

What are PDF Settings?

PDF Settings control the content included in PDF reports you generate from Modex Recruit. You can configure PDFs for Loan Officers, Branches, Companies, Transactions, Lender Beneficiaries, and Real Estate Agents.

For each category, you can set:

Transactions Timeframe: Define the period for transaction data in the PDF.

Content Sections: Use checkboxes to include or exclude report sections:

  • General: Overview, Attributes, Licenses
  • Performance: Volume, Loan Types, Cities, Property Types
  • Non-QM: Overviews and breakdowns
  • Census: Population and income data

Click "Save" to update your PDF generation preferences.

What is Contact Data Requests?

The Contact Data Requests section shows a log of your contact data requests with:

  • Requested On: Date the request was made
  • Status: Current status (In-Progress, Complete)
  • List Name: Name of the list for which data was requested
  • Finding Contact Data/Contact Data Found: Request outcome

What is List Export History?

List Export History maintains a record of all your exported lists. Each export shows:

  • Requested On: Export date
  • List Name: Name of exported list
  • List Type: Data category (Loan Officers, etc.)
  • Range: Timeframe of included data
  • Generation: File format (CSV, etc.)
  • Downloaded: Button to re-download the file

This allows you to easily track and access past data exports.
