What do I do if someone claimed my profile?
Modex uses a variety of tools to ensure the accurate claiming of profiles. If you discover that your profile has already been claimed by someone else, please email support@modexconnect.com and we will work with you to correct the claim.
When you search for your profile during the claim process, a profile that has already been claimed will show a Profile Already Claimed label in place of the Claim Profile button. If you believe the claim was made in error or by someone other than you, our support team can investigate and transfer the profile to the rightful owner.
What to Expect
When you contact support about a disputed profile claim, our team will:
- Verify your identity and ownership of the profile
- Review the existing claim on your profile
- Work with you to correct the claim and restore access
Once a correction is made, you will be able to proceed through the normal claiming process. After your claim is submitted, your profile will show an Awaiting Approval banner while our team reviews your claim. Approval typically takes up to 2 business days.
