Contact Data

Modex provides contact information for loan officers to help you connect with potential candidates. This guide explains how to find, view, and request contact data using our credit-based system.

What is Contact Data?

Contact Data includes various pieces of contact information Modex may have for a loan officer, such as:

  • Mobile Phone
  • Office Phone
  • Direct Phone
  • Personal Email
  • Work Email
  • Websites (LinkedIn profiles, company websites)

Where does Contact Data come from?

Modex sources contact data from public and private data partners. This information is aggregated and cross-referenced to provide accurate, up-to-date contact details from publicly available sources and licensed third-party data providers.

Why isn't Contact Data available for every loan officer?

Contact data availability depends on what our data sources can provide for each individual. Some loan officers may have limited public profiles or opted out of data sharing agreements. If data isn't immediately available, you can use our "Request Contact Data" feature for a more targeted search.

How does the credit system work?

Modex uses a credit system to access contact data:

  1. Unlocking Data: Viewing contact data for a loan officer for the first time consumes one credit. Once unlocked, you can view that individual's contact information unlimited times at no additional cost.
  2. Requesting Data: Requesting contact information doesn't consume a credit when submitted. However, if Modex successfully finds the data, viewing that newly-found information for the first time will consume one credit.
  3. Monthly Reset: Your credits reset on the first day of each month.

How do I find profiles that have Contact Data?

You can filter search results to show only loan officers with available contact information:

  1. Navigate to the loan officer filtering page.
  2. In the left-hand filter panel, click on the "Contact Data" dropdown.
  3. Select the specific type of contact data you need (such as "Mobile Phone" or "Work Email"), or choose "Any Selected" to find profiles with any available contact data.
  4. Click "Apply" at the bottom of the filter panel to update your results.

How do I view Contact Data?

You can view contact information in two locations:

From search results: Click the phone icon to the right of the loan officer's name. A pop-up will display all available contact details.

From profile page: After clicking on a loan officer's name to view their full profile, click the phone icon at the top right of the profile summary.

How do I request Contact Data for profiles that don't have it?

If a profile doesn't have a phone icon, we don't currently have contact information for that individual. You can request this data:

For a single profile:

  1. Find the loan officer in search results.
  2. Click the "Request Contact Data" icon (person with question mark) on the right side of their profile row.
  3. In the confirmation window, click "Ask Modex to Find Contact Data".

For multiple profiles:

  1. From the search results page, check the box to the left of each loan officer you need contact data for.
  2. Once you select at least one profile, a bulk action menu will appear at the top.
  3. Click "Request Contact Data" in this menu to submit requests for all selected profiles.

How can I track my Contact Data requests?

You can monitor all pending and completed requests:

  1. Click the gear icon in the top right corner to access Settings.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click "Contact Data Requests".
  3. This page shows all your requests with the date requested, loan officer's name, and current status ("In-Progress" or "Complete").

You'll also receive a weekly email digest summarizing outstanding requests and recently completed ones.

What if Contact Data is incorrect?

If you find outdated or incorrect information, you can report it directly:

  1. Click the phone icon to view a profile's contact data.
  2. At the bottom of the contact information window, click "Report Inaccurate Data".
  3. Check the box next to each piece of incorrect information.
  4. Click "Send Report" to notify our team for review and correction.
